Already established in London, Paris and Berlin, French Digital, a community for French, Francophone and Francophile digital professionals is expanding outside of Europe and into the Middle East region with the launch of its Dubai chapter. The launch will be held on May 12 in Dubai’s Media City.
French Digital aims at helping business and individuals in developing networks, sharing ideas and creating opportunities, as well as growing the visibility of the French tech industry in the region. The community will be holding a monthly networking event in Dubai, and has already recruited over 2,200 members globally.
“We have chosen this date as it is the day before The Mobile Show 2014, Ecommerce Show Middle East 2014, and Cards and Payments Middle East 2014; all of which will gather many professionals from the digital sector at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre,” explains a statement by French Digital.
