Total brand activation service provider Pico International Dubai has officially launched its sustainability division. The division offers solutions in waste management, carbon footprint management, and intelligent energy saving designs and materials.
Moreover, Pico had achieved the ISO 20121:2012 certification in November 2013, also known as the “event sustainability management system”, on November 28th 2013, making it the first MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) service provider worldwide to achieve this standard – the system is relatively new, having only been implemented for the first time at the London Olympics and Paralympics in June 2012.
“Launching the sustainable services division in the Middle East, should enhance the impact of, the rather sizeable, MICE sector here, and hopefully, set benchmarks for other industry players to follow,” says Peter Sng, regional executive director of Pico International LLC, MENA region.
