A spokesperson for McCann declined to comment on the nature of the complaint or the length of the investigation, but provided a statement.
“We received a complaint about a violation of our Code of Conduct by McCann Health’s Jeremy Perrott. As a result, following an investigation, he is no longer with the company,” the statement reads. “Our foremost priority is to foster a workplace where people are respected and valued, and importantly, an environment where people feel safe and protected to come forward to report actions that run counter to our values and code of conduct.”

Prior to his dismissal, Perrott had been a decades-long fixture in health advertising. In 2014, he served as the president of the inaugural Lions Health Pharma jury at Cannes. Before joining McCann Health in 2008, Perrott was executive creative director for McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific. He also worked in various creative positions at McCann Erickson in Tokyo, New York, London and Seoul.
Perrott did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Earlier this month, Ogilvy too, fired its global chief creative officer Tham Khai Meng for similar reasons.
